Read Your Risk View#
The portfolio risk view summarizes how your open positions and remaining open orders could behave if each market resolves YES or NO. It is a trading aid, not a guarantee. The chain still settles strictly from market outcome and account state.
What The Risk View Includes#
The view combines:
- Open YES and NO shares in each market.
- Remaining quantity from open orders.
- The current YES price used by the app for open-position marks.
- Your account value when available.
For each market, Seesaw estimates:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Current value | Estimated value of shares and remaining open-order exposure at the current YES price. |
| Loss if YES | How much current marked value could be lost if YES wins. |
| Loss if NO | How much current marked value could be lost if NO wins. |
| Worst-case loss | The larger of loss-if-YES and loss-if-NO for that market. |
| Net YES shares | YES shares minus NO shares, including remaining open-order exposure. |
The portfolio max-loss figure sums the per-market worst-case loss estimates.
Asset Exposure#
Asset exposure groups markets by asset label and nets YES exposure across those markets. Positive exposure means you are net long YES; negative exposure means you are net long NO.
Example:
| Market | Position | Net YES |
|---|---|---|
| SOL current window | 40 YES, 10 NO | +30 |
| SOL next window | 5 YES, 25 NO | -20 |
| SOL total | +10 |
This does not make different market windows interchangeable. It is a scan view that helps you notice one-sided exposure.
Concentration Warning#
If the app knows your account value, it highlights a concentration warning when one market's worst-case loss is more than half of that account value.
This warning is intentionally simple. It does not mean the position is wrong; it means one market is large enough to dominate your portfolio result.
What It Does Not Include#
The risk view does not promise:
- A final liquidation value.
- Future liquidity.
- Future price movement.
- A guaranteed exit price.
- Fees on every possible future action.
- Off-chain price movement after the current mark.
For exit mechanics, use the order form or quick-trade flow and review the fill preview before signing.
