Create Market
Launch a new price-direction contract on-chain
Stand up a binary market on any supported Pyth feed. Permissionless, on-chain, and ~0.008 SOL of rent. Earn the creator share on every trade.
Why Create a Market?
- Earn creator fees —a portion of every taker fee on your market goes to you
- Permissionless —anyone can create markets on supported Pyth feeds; creators cannot resolve outcomes or rewrite immutable market rules
- Multiple durations — create 5min, 15min, 1hr markets for the same asset to serve different traders
Oracle SourceChoose whether the market reads a Pyth-sponsored Solana on-chain push feed or uses Pyth Pull settlement. Pull creation is enabled for sponsored Solana feeds whose canonical receiver-owned start snapshot can be validated at creation.
AssetPyth Network provides real-time price data from institutional sources. Push reads sponsored on-chain feeds; Pull currently uses the same sponsored Solana feed set so market creation can validate the required start snapshot.
Choose Pyth Push or Pyth Pull first. Feeds load only after the oracle source is selected.
DurationHow long the market runs before the oracle checks the final price. Shorter = faster resolution; longer = more trading time.
CapacitySets the maximum number of traders in this market. Larger tiers cost more refundable rent up front. Default: Small.
How many distinct traders can hold a position. You pre-pay rent for the ledger space — it's returned to you when the market closes.
